Welcome to The Daisy Dale, where we downsized in a BIG way!

My husband Jim and I are empty nesters with 4 grown children, and two SPECTACULAR grandsons. We also have two bonus sons that married our daughters, and we wouldn’t know what to do without them. I personally have been building, crafting, and baking for a long time, but that doesn’t mean that you need a ton of experience to follow my projects, as I am really just learning. We downsized BIG two years due to some health issues, and are so pleased with our new little nest. We went from a 4 bed, 4 bath 2,700 sq foot home to a 2 bed, 1 bath 1,100 sq foot home and are trying to spend more time outdoors and enjoy life.

I approach everything with an emphasis on family-friendly projects, and as much relaxation as possible. LOL When not at home working on our homestead, we are usually traveling with our grown kids, or following our youngest around to the different Navy bases she’s currently at. What better way to see the world right?!

The name comes from my late Nonnie’s love for daisies. She always had them growing around her house and a few months before she passed she had given me some cuttings from her garden to plant at my house. I feel so blessed to have that special memory so now daisies hold a special place in my heart and home. They make me smile and think of her every time I am outside and they blooming.
